	Europe met The Hague from June 13 till 15: three days of contact, learning and fun 25 residents from different European Cities visited The Hague and exchanged experiences and ideas with actives citizens of the Hague Neighbourhoods.

	International workshop How do residents make the city - Politics in the Neighbourhood. Antwerp April 19 – 21 2007 Politics in the Neighourhood will be the theme for this international workshop. In Antwerp there are lots of active citizens, who are very involved in keeping their neighbourhoodís livable. A characteristic of the way they operate is that they are very aware of politics and sometimes even become politically involved. read the programme

	R4R Europe proudly presents: RESIDENT EXPERTS Film Premiere: the Haque November 15, 2006 On 15 November the R4R film Resident Experts will have its Premiere in het Filmhuis, The Haque. This film made by Nick Booth, for R4R Europe in co-operation with the Dutch Ministry of Housing, gives an insight in the every day lives of three very different people in three very different places, having three very different stories, but all with one thing in common. Bien Hofman, Nico Volckerijck and Masood Yasin are ordinary people who are experts on their own neighbourhood. Filmed on the streets of Rotterdam, Antwerp and Birmingham this documentary reveals why they do what they do and how it works. In each case politicians and professionals explain how this helps them achieve more. Announcement here!

	Inspiration from old and new friends at the Resident University 2006 For three days, Birmingham was the capital city of European citizens. Over 325 active residents from 6 different countries attended the Resident University at the University of Birmingham. People could meet up and exchange experiences at the excursions and workshops or at the market-square where most resident groups presented their materials. Birmingham was a warm and inspiring setting for meeting up with old and new friends from all over Europe. read more
