Inspiration from old and new friends at the Resident University 2006
For three days, Birmingham was the capital city of European citizens. Over 325 active residents from 6 different countries attended the Resident University at the University of Birmingham. People could meet up and exchange experiences at the excursions and workshops or at the market-square where most resident groups presented their materials. As a host of the Resident University 2006, The City Council of Birmingham is very enthusiastic about the foundation of an European Resident Centre in the Hague. That is why Councillor Jim Whorwood signed our Manifesto on Friday, May 19th.
