Next Resident University will take place in Birmingham, England on September 13-16, 2006.
We are glad to announce that the preparations for the second Resident University have started. It will take place in Birmingham, England and it will be organised together with the residents, City Council and University of Birmingham.
How does a modern city communicate and interact with its residents in the different neighbourhoods and how do different neighbourhoods communicate and interact with their modern city? How and where do the different interests come together? How do we best deliver public services and how do neighbourhoods manage themselves? These are the questions that will be discussed at the Resident University 2006. These questions come together in the organising theme:
‘Big city, small neighbourhoods, one vision!’.
