Who are we? For those who have not heard from R4R Europe.
R4R has a large network of active residents’ organisations in an expanding number of European Cities like London (UK), Birmingham (UK), Dortmund (Germany) Antwerp (Belgium), Copenhagen (Denmark), Sofia (Bulgaria), Vilnius (Lithuania) and Roubaix (France), as well as a number of Cities in the Netherlands such as The Hague, Rotterdam, Dordrecht, Vlaardingen and others.
R4R Europe will reinforce and intensify its growing network of contacts in the coming years. The focal point will be on the eastern and southern European countries.
In order to identify the subjects of the themes and workshops of the European Resident Centre there is a network of grass root scholars from different cities and universities. These scholars ‘validate’ the experiences and knowledge of our residents and help them to better understand processes taking place in their neigbourhoods.
YOUNG R4R Also based at our Resident Centre is YOUNG R4R this is a Group of Young people who want to establish an European Youth network and they try to achieve this through network travels and planning and taking part in various international youth activities. They are planning an international Youth Conference in 2008 and work closely together with partners from the Netherlands, The Uk, Germany and hopefully very soon also France.
